PHP MySQL Version

Post by wboyd »

Hello. As many of you, I have been an appreciative user of the ASP Football Pool over the years. But, because the code has not been updated, maintained or supported over the last few years I have decided to create a new "similar" version of the pool using PHP and MySQL. I hope to have a version available by mid-August 2018 for testing. I intend to initially continue the Open Source concept and would like users interested in helping me test and improve the application to please contact me. My email is {siteadmin at mynfl dot net}

I will be testing and debugging the application during this season 2018, so it won't be a "live" version, but, live enough to test. Hopefully, I have a fully functional, tested version to publish for LIVE use next year. Also, I want to create a version for NCAA 2019.

If you are interested in helping/testing etc., please let me know.

Thank you.!
Weldon

I know that php/mysql would be the logical choice to move on, as asp.net is gonna eventually fade. I wish I had more code knowledge to participate. My site is modded to my tatses, but its easier in asp. Not lookin forward to relearnin all i have learnt....

If I'm not mistaken, haven't some people done a SQL version?
