Idea's on how to have multiple payouts per week and year end

Post by admin »

Any idea on how to set the site up so it can have multiple pay outs per week and also for the year end?

Specifically I want to be able to do the following.

Cost is 5 to play.
4 of that goes to the week, 1 to the year end pool.
Top 3 get paid each week and year end broken down as 65%, 25%, 10%.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

One year I just replaced the summary page with snapshot of a manual spreadsheet that I had to keep updating, but it would be nice for this to just happen automatically!

No, I haven't gotten any feedback as you can see, and I don't have the programming knowledge to do it on my own. Maybe in the off-season I can hit up a friend to help me out, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wasn't able to hit-up my friend both he and I got busy, and this year I am no longer running a paid pool, just a free one, so I don't have that need any longer, sorry I can't be of help, hopefully someone can.

I just did this as custom code for someone. They will not share the code, but it is simple to do.

@Charlie - If you did the code, couldn't you share what YOU did? :-)

Bumping this as I am in desperate need of this. I assure you, if I figure it out I will share.
Someone has to have done this who is willing to help us.
*Fingers crossed*

I have finally gotten around to adding 2nd & 3rd place payouts. Please see the attached code. This code will allow for 1st Place - 75%, 2nd Place - 25% and 3rd place money back $5. for the weekly games.

Sorry such short notice, just finished this today.

If you find this code useful and want to buy me a coffee you can send $1 to paypal mattcoyle@gmail.com

Happy Coding!

-Matt
