Database for 2019 Season

Post by 6burgh »

I believe the information to be correct. But feel free to check and post anything that needs corrected!! I haven't found a quick and easy way to convert the schedule into the database but hopefully I will have saved some of you some time!

NOTES:
Week 16 I listed several games for Saturday as the NFL site has them listed as TBD by week 8.
I can't remember the original password but it is admin for this version.

Happy Football Season!
Go Steelers!!!! ;)

Not sure if it's just me... but are you sure the password is "admin"? It doesn't seem to work for me.

Oh and thank you for converting the season... I'm on a Mac, so there is very little that I can do to update it myself. At your mercies here, so thanks!

The caps lock was on when I set the password originally. "admin" all lower case should work now.

Is this the new download for 2019-2020 season?
I have not used or installed this software for like 3 or 4 years...

Only the database is included. It is located in the Data folder.

Thank you!
So with this database replacement the previous software will work for the entire 2019-2020 regular season?

How do I change the timezone from eastern to pacific. I read somewhere that the timezone information is in the database, but I have not been able to find it.

Thanks for your response 6burgh. I had the time offset to 0 in the config.asp and it was showing the correct time for my area (pacific). What I wanted to do was show the pacific time zone for the entry form. In reading the forum, I found a file called time.asp that changes the schedule in the database and now all is good. Thanks and looking forward to a good season.

I am using a free webhost that allows asp files and hope that I don't run into any problems with that. I already know that I don't have email capabilities with them and trying to find a work-around to be able to send emails to my players.

I had a problem with the point spreads rounding again this year. If anyone needs the database with the fixed point spreads, here it is.

Thanks, juanbond. I had the same problem the last couple seasons. Last year I found a way to fix it, but can't seem to remember how. I thought I changed the pointspread field size to "single," but my Access editing app gives me an error when I try to do it this year. The season already started, so I can't replace my db with yours. Could you tell me what change you made to the db to get it to not round off?

Thanks!!
