How does the pool winnings work? We don't run a weekly pool that lets anybody pay and play for that week only. We have a group of people that signup for the entire season, and we charge them a certain amount for the season. We get their money before the season starts. Then each week we have a fixed payout for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Its the same payout every week. But the weekly payout is not equal to number of players * season fee / number of weeks. We only payout a small amount each week; then payout the rest of the money for the season standings.
So, can I set it up so that the 1st,2nd, and 3rd place of each week gets our fixed payout amounts credited to their account automatically? How?

Yes, it probably could be done.
To get better suggestions, you will need to be more specific about your breakdown.
For instance:
How much is the initial buy in per player? Is is a static amount?
How much do you pay out each week to the winners? What rules do you use to determine who gets 1st, 2nd, 3rd each week? How do you handle ties?
How much are you paying out your season standing winners? How do you handle ties here?
There will need to be a lot of modifications to accommodate what you are asking for. What is your level of knowledge in coding/scripting? Do you just need some pointers or are you willing to pay someone for the time they are going to need to invest in helping you with the project? I'm not saying you will have to pay someone, but that might help you get more assistance.

What we do is have a set amount for the season that everyone pays up front, but if you divide that by 17 week season it works out to 3$/week which we use the pool pot to split 50%
We have 1 winner each week and a pot at the end of the season for overall winner which is 1st, 2nd, 3rd
which means $1.50 per person, per week goes towards the 1 weekly winner.
and means $1.50 per person, per week goes towards the pot which gets split amongst the top 3 overall season players at the end of the season
when each person pays their season amount up front, the admin puts that much as paid , then site does the rest of the calculations for us(except the split 3 ways at the end of the season)
